JohnCHAMBERSAnita and David would like to thank family, friends and neighbours for all their messages of condolence, lovely sympathy cards and numerous flower arrangements. John had the perfect goodbye, he would have been overwhelmed by the number of people filling the church to capacity. The service was conducted by the Rev. Liz Thomas and was said with love and compassion to David and myself, we thank you for that. To Steve and Martin at E. Hurton & Son for their guidance, care and compassion shown to us at such a difficult time. To J. Normans & Sons for the beautiful floral tributes and the West Retford Hotel for the excellent funeral tea. To all who gave donations to the Dialysis Unit of Bassetlaw Hospital in memory of John we thank you. The total to date is £511. We sat at your bedside And prayed to God above We held your hand so tight And gave you all our love We watched you slip away And then we knew you could not stay Always in our hearts Anita & David xxx
